Donations not only offer an opportunity to help our college and community, they also provide excellent tax credits as well. Gifts to The Foundation qualify for Michigan income tax credits. Individuals and businesses may reduce their Michigan income tax or Michigan single business tax by a credit of up to 50% of the amount contributed to a permanent endowment.

Individuals may receive a State income tax credit of up to $100 for a gift up to $200 on a single return.
Couples may receive a State income tax credit of up to $200 for a gift up to $400 on a joint return.
Corporations may receive a State income tax credit up to 5% of the corporation's tax liability.
