As you are well aware, we are living in one of the most challenging economic times of our era. The challenges are real and the impact is certainly being felt in the halls of higher education, including Mott Community College (MCC). Mott, along with all other Michigan colleges and universities, is dealing with the effects of devastating cuts in state aid over the last few years along with rapidly rising costs to provide services. Your gifts, now more than ever, are extremely important if not vital!
The true value of MCC lies in you, its employees. Your support provides not just student scholarships/awards and new programs, but also professional opportunities and academic support for faculty and staff.
Your support goes further than that, however. When you make a contribution to the Foundation for MCC, you are making a powerful statement to the community. You are demonstrating that MCC is an invaluable asset to this community, worthy of the financial commitment and the unwavering support you are providing.
We ask that you consider a gift or pledge to the Foundation. Outright gifts may be made via our online giving form. You may also print off the form here, complete it and include your check made payable to “FMCC”, and send it by interoffice mail to the Foundation for MCC.
Pledges may also be made by completing the form here and forwarding it to the Foundation for MCC. Or you may email a message stating the details of your pledge to foundation@mcc.edu. Please remember to indicate the amount, fund and number of equal installments in which you wish to have the pledge paid.
For example: “I pledge $100 for the Annual Giving Campaign and $100 for the Endowment Growth Initiative – a total of $200 to be paid in equal installments over 26 pays.”
As an employee of this college, you should know that we have migrated to a new computer system and have appropriately modified our business operation. Our campaign is now by calendar year. Pledge gifts must be paid in full within the calendar year (January 1 through December 30) and we ask that multiple funds be earmarked at $26 or greater per account.
If you would like information on Planned Giving, or have any other questions on how you may help MCC prepare for and sustain its future, please do not hesitate to contact me at 810.762.0269 or by email to lconey@mcc.edu.
On behalf of the Foundation for MCC, I thank you for considering a gift and look forward to hearing from you!
