The Northern Tier Center is a full service extension site that offers the following services:

Academic Advising
By appointment only. See schedule Winter semester 2008. If you need to see an academic advisor, please call our office at (810) 686-6460 or (810) 232-8044. The NTC Office staff will contact you with advisement dates and times. Walk-ins are welcome at the Counseling and Advising Offices on the main campus in Flint.

Admission to College
You can apply for admissions to Mott Community College by visiting the Northern Tier Center during business hours (Monday-Thursday 8am-6pm) OR online by clicking on the "Apply Online" button. Be sure to answer all the questions; print the signature sheet and return your signed sheet to the Northern Tier Center Office or the Admissions Office on main campus. Questions? Cashier
Mott Community College students may pay their tuition and fees via check, money order or credit card. (No cash is accepted.) Office hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Placement Testing
Placement Testing is available Monday - Thursday from 12:30pm – 3:00pm on a walk-in basis. The testing takes approximately 1-1/2 hours. For more Placement Testing Information call (810) 232-8044.

Orientations to MCC
MCC new students can attend an official orientation facilitated by a MCC Counselor at the Northern Tier Center. See Orientation Schedule. To schedule an orientation call (810) 232-8044.

Computer Lab
Hours of operation vary depending upon course offerings and staffing. Special arrangements may be made by contacting the main office. All students are required to provide ID.
 
Student Financial Services Assistance
NTC can provide financial aid forms. For assistance in completing the financial aid process please visit the main campus financial aid office, visit the MCC website, or stop by the NTC on designated Financial Advising Days..   
 
Registration for Classes
MCC students may register at the NTC site for any of the classes offered by MCC during regular office hours. Students may also register for classes online by selecting “WebAdvisor” .

Tutoring
Tutoring is available by request. MCC students may visit NTC during regular business hours and submit a request for a tutor. This service is available on an as needed basis. For more information call (810) 686-6460, (810) 232-8044.
