now in a new, larger location.
The Mott Community College Northern Tier Center was bursting at the seams. The overwhelming need for access to higher education in the Clio community prompted the college to seek out a larger facility. The new location at 4082 W. Vienna Road, is conveniently located 1/4 mile east of I-75. This major thoroughfare in Clio will provide higher visibility to promote the college in the community. It’s also conveniently located next to shopping, restaurant and gas stations which are helpful for students trying to maintain a busy work, education and personal schedule. MCC spent about $1.5 million in bond proceeds to renovate 18,000 square feet of the 58,000 square-foot building, which formerly housed a Pamida retail store. Students began taking classes in the new facility in winter 2007. |
