Mott Community College Board of Trustees has adopted a smoking policy to comply with the Michigan Clean Indoor Air Act. The purpose of the Act is to protect and promote public health by reducing involuntary exposure to tobacco smoke in public places.

Effective July 1, 1995, all public smoking areas are closed.

Smoking is prohibited throughout college facilities.
