What is M-TEC?
The Livingston Regional M-TEC is one of 18 such centers located across Michigan designed to meet the specific training needs of local businesses and industries. This training enhances the skills of the current workforce as well as prepares individuals to change careers or enter the job market for the first time.

   
   
Who runs M-TEC?
The Livingston Regional M-TEC is operated by Mott Community College. The M-TEC is focused on providing workers with the training needed by business and industry for success.
   
   
What kind of facility is M-TEC?
The Livingston Regional M-TEC is a 39,200 square foot, high bay industrial building, with classrooms, two computer labs and five technical training labs.

What skills does M-TEC teach?
M-TEC programs have been developed in response to the needs of area business and industry and are subject to ongoing revision in response to changing needs. Currently offered subject areas can be reviewed on our Programs & Courses web page.

Where is the Livingston Regional M-TEC located?
Livingston Regional M-TEC is located in the Trans-West Industrial Park, 1240 Packard Drive, Howell (near the convergence of the M-59 and I-96 corridors) It is located close to the research facilities of University of Michigan and Michigan State University, as well as manufacturing centers such as Detroit, Flint and Lansing. What specifically can Livingston Regional M-TEC do for my business?
Our professional consultants can work with your business to identify specific training needs, develop training programs to meet those needs and assist in evaluating the effectiveness of the training. Many manufacturing, technology and quality assurance classes have already been developed. Adjustments can be made to your specific requirements.

As an individual, what does Livingston Regional M-TEC offer me?
Classes are available to individuals who want to raise their general educational level, update existing skills or retrain for new job opportunities. Of course, you are also welcome to join our classes for personal enrichment. Some classes are “for credit” and can be applied toward a Mott Community College Associate’s Degree or Certificate Program.
   
   
Are facilities available for rent?
Yes, Livingston Regional M-TEC facilities are available for your group’s meeting or conference needs. Training Room Rentals will provide you with more details. Please note: no alcohol is allowed in the building.
