Flexible Training
M-TEC Concept
M-TEC’s were developed to make Michigan communities attractive to employers by providing convenient, responsive technical training facilities right near the workplace. Training is oriented toward the high skill, high wage occupations. Classes are developed to be relevant for current needs, flexibly scheduled and competency based.

Livingston Regional M-TEC
To meet the needs of the Livingston area training concentrations were developed in Information Technology, Manufacturing and Construction. Classes in associated areas are also available. Check our Programs and Courses for a complete list. The unique feature of Livingston Regional M-TEC is our capability of providing customized training for your business’s specific needs.

Flexible Scheduling
Daytime, nighttime, classroom, worksite? Each of these times, locations and formats can be accommodated by Livingston Regional M-TEC:
  • Daytime, evening, midnight or Saturday classes
  • Our classrooms and labs or your site
  • Variety of formats – traditional classroom, open computer lab, web-based distance learning or self-paced training on a computer

Are you starting a new product line or a new manufacturing system? You know your staff needs new skills but how do you start? Livingston Regional M-TEC can analyze your training needs and customize a program just for your business. You chose the classes, schedule and site, we provide the instructors, texts, materials, labs and tests. Let Livingston M-TEC become your Training Department.

Competency Based Assessment
When you spend money on training you want to know that your employees have achieved mastery of the skills taught. Livingston Regional M-TEC can provide you those results. Each student’s skill achievement can be assessed using written post-tests, hands-on performance demonstrations or both. Many classes award certificates of competency upon completion.
