Visionaries Visionary community and
business leaders provided the initial financial
support to bring a state-of-the-art technical
training facility to the Livingston County Area.
They backed their commitment with three-year
pledges of over $450,000 to
supplement state grants to
build and operate the Livingston Regional
M-TEC Center.
Education Partner Mott Community College of Flint was chosen
as the ideal educational partner because of its
excellent reputation,
flexibility and enthusiasm for the M-TEC mission. MCC is additionally well
qualified because of its strong
track record in the field of technical education and its long-standing
reputation for high quality corporate services.
MCC President Dr. M. Richard Shaink, Vice President
Scott Jenkins and many other MCC staff took an
active role in the development of the Livingston
Regional M-TEC.
