MCC offers several programs through the Federal Workforce Investment Act (WIA). The objective of these programs is to assist adults who are seeking employment or skill improvements as a path to better employment.

Adult Worker Program – Available to any adult 18 years or older.

resume development, employment assistance,
educational/career assessments,
financial assistance for training or classes
support services for up to 90 days after finding employment.

Dislocated Worker Program – Available to any adult 18 years or older who has been terminated, laid off or has exhausted their unemployment compensation.

employment assistance,
financial assistance for training or classes,
education assessment
support services for up to 90 days after finding employment.

Year-Round Youth Program – Available to unemployed young adults between the ages of 19 and 21 who are eager to improve their basic literacy skills.

mentoring, resume development,
educational assessment,
financial assistance for training or classes,
occupational skills or classroom training
support service for up to 90 days after finding employment.

Incumbent Worker Program – Available for any adult who is currently employed and wants to improve their skills in computers, basic math, grammar or reading. This program can also be utilized by employers interested in customized training for their current workforce.
