Anthropology
Definition: study of the races, physical and mental characteristics, distribution, customs, social relationships, etc.

Economics
Definition: science that deals with the production, distribution, and consumption of wealth, and the various related problems of labor, finance, taxation, etc.

Geography
Definition: science dealing with the surface of the earth, its division into continents and countries, the climate, plants, animals, natural resources, inhabitants and industries of the various divisions.

History
Definition: study of what has happened in the life or development of a people, country or institution.

Political Science
Definition: study of the principles, organization and methods of government.

Psychology
Definition: science of dealing with the mind and mental processes, feelings, desires, etc.

Sociology
Definition: study of the history, development, organization and problems of people living together as social groups.

Early Childhood Education
Definition: systematic study of the problems, methods and theories of teaching and learning.

Criminal Justice
Definition: study of various areas of criminal justice, including township, local, state and federal law enforcement programs and juvenile, county and state correction agencies.

Social Work
Definition: study of the social services field by providing understanding of the methods, skills, philosophy, and human behavior necessary to perform well in a social services setting.

Geography/Geographical Information Systems (GIS)
Definition: study of the systems for the capture, storage, retrieval, analysis and display of spatial data for use in solving problems from tracking delivery vehicles to modeling global atmospheric circulation.
