Associate Professor/Graphic Design
Welcome
to Art & Design
at Mott Community College. My name is Mara Jevera
Fulmer and I
wear many hats in the Art Department. As an Associate Professor,
I am a fulltime faculty member teaching
Graphic Design and overseeing Graphic Design internships. I’m
also a working graphic
designer
and exhibiting artist, constantly growing and exploring new avenues
of visual expression in the digital and traditional art so that
I can bring those experiences back into the classroom. As the Graphic
Design Program Coordinator, I work towards the goal of keeping
our program current in industry standards of technology and design,
building relationships with business and industry, and creating
links between high school, Mott, and four-year institutions. And,
as an Academic Advisor, my goal is to help you make informed decisions
in planning and undertaking your studies in Art and Graphic Design
with
an eye towards your future success.
If your plan is to study art or graphic design, I have much
to discuss with you before and during your
studies here. The sooner we meet, the better I’ll be able
to assist you in making the most of your
studies here at Mott.
Below, you will find some important information to get you started.
However, students are urged to
meet with an advisor in the Art Department as soon as possible
before registering for classes. So be
sure to call the Art office at (810) 762-0443 to get started. |
