The Operations and Production Technology Program, or OPT Program, is designed to provide entry level employees an opportunity to gain some basic skills needed in the workplace while investigating possible career and academic paths for more advanced classes. The OPT program provides a F.L.E.X. – Flexible Learning Experience and allows the learner to complete core skills identified by Regional businesses before declaring a more specific major in a Technology area. Learners may choose from a variety of pathways including, but not limited to: Design Engineering, Quality, Electrical, Electronics, Information Technology , Air Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration Technology, Manufacturing or Operations.
