Welcome to Mott Community College! If you have attended college before and want to get started at MCC, we can make the transition uncomplicated and stress-free. Use your current credits to enter a degree or certificate program here. You can also plan to transfer MCC credits to a four year program.

There is no application fee

1. Submit a completed and signed Application to the Admissions and Recruitment Office through one of the methods listed below. From the time we receive your application, please allow 24-48 hours for our application to be processed. Our online application is the most accurate method to apply and is preferred. If you have attended MCC in the past, please submit a paper application.

   • Apply online
   • Apply in person at any campus location (Flint, Fenton, Lapeer or Clio)
   • Print an application and mail to:

2. Have an official transcript sent from each previous college attended to:

3. Begin the process of applying for Financial Aid or consider the many payment options available through MCC.



4. You must then meet with a counselor or advisor to discuss your program, class selection and career goals. It is recommended that you bring unofficial transcripts from colleges you have previously attended. Be sure to ask about MCC's Honors Program.



5. Complete the Registration process through your counselor/advisor or at the main campus Registration area. Pay for your classes within two business days. After your first semester, you can register online using WebAdvisor.



6. Secure your payment options.  If you have not already secured your method payment, MCC requires students to implement payment arrangements before registering or within two business days after registering for classes.
