MCC offers a Gold Card Scholarship program for Senior Citizens who have reached the age of 60 or older.

  • Gold Card scholarships pay 100% of the cost of tuition and fees for regular classes.
  • Students pay for their textbooks and any other necessary items for each course.
  • Applicants must meet the admission requirements of the college and any course prerequisites.
  • Registration for each class is on a space available basis.

Apply for a Gold Card through the Admissions Office on the Main Campus in the Prahl Community Center. Once you file a Gold Card application you are in the Registration system for any classes you wish to take in the future.

A Gold Card is available for identification purposes upon request from the Admissions Office.

The Gold Card also offers a 50% course cost discount for Continuing Education classes. Enrollment is also on a space available basis. There is a separate application process. Please contact Continuing Education for more information.
