Financial aid assists students who do not
have sufficient resources to pay their educational costs while
attending Mott Community College. Numerous federal, state, institutional,
and privately funded programs
are available to financially help qualified students.
Students must meet eligibility requirements for each program,
be in good academic standing, and make normal progress
toward a degree in order
to receive program funds.
It is important that students apply for student
aid as soon as possible for the appropriate
award year for consideration. Limited funding exists in some programs.
Priority consideration is on a
first come, first served basis to those who have submitted all
required and requested documents to Student Financial
Services.
Please allow Student Financial Services
adequate time to process and award students financial aid.
We highly recommend beginning the financial
aid process at least 6 weeks before the start of the semester.
