"The Friends of the
Mott Library is an association of persons with an interest
in promoting the services, improving the facilities, and
responding to the needs of the Mott Community College Library."
Established in 1989 the Friends of the
Mott Library organization is made up of a diverse mix of
students, faculty & staff, alumni, retirees and individuals
from the community dedicated to enhancing and promoting the
Mott Library.

Library:
The Friends work together to promote the Mott Library on campus and in the community, to assist the library by volunteering time and talents, to provide funds for special projects, to purchase new equipment and books, to strengthen the commitment to life-long learning, and to enhance library services for students. The Friends of the Mott Library have held a variety of fundraising activities. In addition to the annual membership drive, other fundraising activities have included book sales, murder mystery dinners, a fashion show, art auctions, a silent auction and art gallery visits with a percentage of the sales being returned to the Friends. The Friends have been instrumental in providing many items for the Library to help support student learning and to promote the Mott Library to the Mott Campus as well as to the surrounding community.
