Club Recognition Reception
On April 18th Student Life held the annual Club Recognition Reception. We gather together to celebrate participating in clubs on campus and find out who has done an exceptional job for the year. This year we celebrated:

Advisor of the Year – Amy Witham of the Student Nurses Association
Most Consistent Club – Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) headed up by Phil Hubbard
Most Involved Advisor – Wanda Stitt of the Travel Club
Most Inventive Event – The Pi(e) Eating Contest sponsored by Pi R Squared (math club)
Club MVP – Derek Sanders of MCC Otaku

We began the festivities with a performance by comedian Sean Hunter. Dr. Shaink stopped in to say a few words to our club members and have some ice cream. The Events Office set us up with a great buffet of burgers, BBQ chicken, bratwurst, potato salad, soda and an ice cream sundae bar.
