and Student Development Division (CASD) provides
students with a roadmap to college success right from the start.

- Counselors and Advisors are available to students throughout their studies
at MCC.
- Transfer Counseling
- Counselors and Advisors assist students and develop their plans for transferring
to four year colleges. Students may take up to two years towards a four-year
degree at Mott Community College and then transfer to a four-year college
or university.
- Career Resource Center
- Helps students with the career exploration process.

Health Services
- Health counseling and related health services are available
to help MCC students feel well, avoid illness and succeed with their
studies.

Dental Services
- Low cost, quality dental hygiene services are available to the public
at Mott’s Dental Hygiene Clinic. Dental hygiene students provide
these services under the close faculty supervision by licensed Dentists
and Dental Hygienists.

the manager of all student records, grades, transcripts and issues
the Academic/Registration calendar.

Office
The Registration & Cashier’s Offices are available at all campus locations and are the locations for handling all payment transactions, registration, drop/add and withdrawal functions.
Student Financial
Services
There are many forms of financial aid to assist students who do not have
sufficient resources to pay their educational costs while attending Mott
Community College. Numerous federal, state, institutional, and privately
funded programs are available to financially help qualified students.

Bookstore
The bookstore provides authorized, one-stop-shopping
for: Text books for college courses, Spirit wear, software, supplies,
snacks and Mott gifts. Textbooks are also available at The

Student ID/Debit
Card
The student ID/Debit card can
be used to exit the paid parking lot. The
card is required at the Mott Library to check out books and is also an
alternate source of ID to access the MCC Computer Labs and other student
services.
Athletics
The athletic program at Mott Community College
provides the only intercollegiate sports activity in Genesee County.
The Bears of MCC field competitive teams for men and women. Mott sports
currently include men's basketball,
baseball, cross-country and golf, as
well as women's basketball, softball,
cross-country and volleyball.

- A Federally funded program targeting students in grades nine through
twelve who need support and guidance to fully realize college potential.

- Copy Machines
- Copy machines are available for student use in several locations on the
MCC Main Campus and the extension campuses.
- Form Center
- www.mcc.edu – a central location
for all MCC forms.
- Food Services
- Vending Machines offering hot, cold and frozen selections are available
in convenient locations throughout main campus during regular school
hours.
- Applewood Café
- Offers a unique dining experience complete with
white linen and professional service. Meals are prepared by the culinary
art students.
- Info Channel
- Computerized information monitors in halls and lobbies of the main campus
and SLBC which announces events, club news, game times, deadlines,
financial aid and registration information.
- Parking
- Parking is available without charge in the surface lots and student parking
ramps, except for the surface lot adjacent to the Prahl College Center,
which requires a parking debit card to exit.
- Handicapped Parking
- All students, staff, and faculty utilizing these spaces MUST register
their parking permit and/or license plate number with the Health Services
Office. Students may request a temporary MCC handicap-parking permit
in the Health Services Office.

Public pay telephones are located in all buildings on the MCC campuses.
- TTY Locations

- Hearing
impaired students may use the TTY equipped pay phones in the Mott
Library outer lobby, CM, MMB, PCC, RTC or the Southern
Lakes Branch Center - Fenton office.
- Student Lounges
- There is a Student Lounge on the first floor of the PCC, second floor
of Curtice-Mott and first and second floor Mott Memorial buildings,
first floor of the Mott Library, the Commons Area on the lower level
of the PCC, the second floor of the RTC and at Southern Lakes Branch Center - Fenton, Lapeer Extension Center and at the Northern Tier Center. These
spaces provide a place for students to relax, quietly socialize, or
study.

MCC produces several booklets and catalogs which provide guidelines
and reference materials for students.

- Children on Campus
- Children are welcome to visit the campus, but for their safety they must
be supervised by adults at all times. Children in classrooms are disruptive
to the educational process. Out of consideration for the teaching and
learning process, students, staff, and visitors are not permitted to
have children accompany them into college classrooms and/or laboratories,
whether the children are supervised or not.

- Several childcare programs on or adjacent to MCC’s campus are available
for student use.
