Photo Styles for Print and Web:
Whether photo is going to be used in Black & White
or Color, the application of some dithering (noise) can be very forgiving
to a less than professional quality photo. 
Please keep in mind that a photo with
good contrast and one that can be cropped appropriately for the area
intended is very important. Some photos may lend themselves to completely
different treatments (such as outlined photos), use your judgement
to create the right visual.
In Photoshop*
Filter: Add Noise/Amount 8%/Gaussian/Uniform
(NOTE: only
add this effect if photo is of poor quality or if being used
as rotating image with template.)
Effects: Drop Shadow/ Multiply/Opacity 35%/Angle
120°/Distance 4px/Spread 30%/Size 10px
Rule: Add 2px rule around the photo, use one
of the following colors...Teal( 669999), Rose (996666), Yellow
(FFCC33) or Black (if photo is Black & White)
*These measurements were set in Photoshop
7.0, please use best judgment if working in different version
or application.
