Green Hands Volunteer Day

Come to learn about invasive shrubs like Buckthorn, Honey Suckle and more. Learn how they are devastating native habitat, then learn and practice the techniques used to remove it.
Winter Solstice Owl Prowl
Friday, December 19th @ 9:00 pm– 10:30 pm
Come join us for a hike in search of owls during one of the longest nights of the year. After the hike we will enjoy hot drinks.

Come join us for a hike in search of owls during their mating season. After the hike we will enjoy a camp fire and hot drinks.
The Sleepy Log at the Flushing Twp Hall – 6524 N Seymour Rd
Saturday, January 17th 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Come experience nature in the winter indoors. Many interactive displays and games will demonstrate what trees, insects and animals do in winter. Crawl through a larger than life log to see hibernating animals, see different signs that animals leave including tracks and scat.
Snacks and drinks will also be available.
Family Game Night at the Flushing Twp Hall – 6524 N Seymour Rd

Come out of your hibernation and play some fun family nature themed games. We will have popcorn and drinks and lots of fun.
