The SPTA club has four objectives:

Student Physical Therapist Assistant Club
  • Promoting the recognition and presence of the Physical Therapist Assistant program at MCC.
  • Providing students who may be interested in the Physical Therapist Assistant program or field of Physical Therapy an opportunity to meet and talk with students and advisors in the program.
  • Assisting club members to attend a professional Physical Therapy conference and create enthusiasm for their profession and awareness of the opportunities for continuing professional growth beyond graduation as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Represent and promote the Code of Ethics as presented in the American Physical Therapy Association
