Electrical Code You will learn how to interpret and understand National Electrical Code and to prepare for journeyman’s master test. This class will give you a working knowledge of codebook and how to interpret it. Topics covered are: articles covering single family dwellings, residential wiring, multifamily dwellings, light commercial applications and commercial industrial wiring. This course will be based on 2005 National Electrical Code.

Nat'l Electrical Code License Renewal This course is a State of Michigan mandated class for all master electricians to renew their electrical license. This class includes the exam and renewal certificate to send with your renewal papers. Class content will be based on 2005 Electrical Code changes required by the State of Michigan. Electrical Sizing & Calculations This class will provide the student with the knowledge to calculate the correct size and type of conductors, conduit, grounding and bonding conductors and methods, and electrical equipment for different applications. LifeLong Learning For Seniors
A wonderful program is offered to seniors once a month from September through May. It will inspire, rejuvenate, stimulate and refresh. Each two hour event features a unique program and light refreshments.

Sign up today! Seats are going fast. Each event begins at 9:30 a.m. in the Event Center (on the north side of the MCC Library on the main campus) individual tickets are $10.00 each. Contact the CE office for more details.

Hear about the important people who helped mold him along the way and what he considers the highlights of his wonderful athletic career. Mott Bears Basketball Coach STEVE SCHMIDT has led the Mott Basketball program to unprecedented accomplishments in the national Junior College/Community College ranks over the past seventeen years. THREE National Championships and THREE National Coach of the Year honors have our Mott College Bears now the premier school in the entire United States! Hear what he attributes to the success of his program.

Local Air Force Heroes Mike Bloomfield and Karl Richter Local Air Force Heroes MIKE BLOOMFIELD grew up in Fenton attending the Lake Fenton School System. He went onto the United States Air Force Academy where he was named the Captain of the Falcon Football team. He became a pilot which led him into a distinguished career as an Astronaut. Hear about the highlights of the missions he participated in and all about the NASA program. KARL RICHTER grew up in Holly, attending the Holly School System. After graduating from the Air Force Academy, he became the "ace" of the Air Force pilots, flying the most missions during the VietNam War. Karl was downed on his 199th mission and lost his life. Holly High classmate Mrs. Judy Hogan will detail his career in our efforts to highlight his storied Air Force career. In addition, the curator of the "Air and Space Museum" in Frankenmuth, Mr. Stan Bozich, will speak briefly about the exhibits of both Mike Bloomfield and Karl Richter that he has on display.
