Community Mental Health Training for group home workers is available at Mott Community College.

In this intensive 80 hour program students will attend classes Monday though Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for four (4) weeks. Training will take place at the Garfield G. Wagner/ Workforce Education Center.

Upon successful completion of this program each participant will be:

Direct Care Worker Certified
CMH Trained
Adult CPR & First Aid Certified

Eligibility & Funding Information

Participants in Employer Tuition Assistance Plans, Work First and WIA/ITA are eligible for this program.
Michigan Works funding is available for WIA/ITA participants.
