Discover the Graphic Design Program at MCC!

Graphic Design, sometimes called Visual Communications, is the art and practice of “projecting ideas and experiences with visual and textual content.” Whenever you see a print or online advertisement, graphic, or illustration, you’ve encountered graphic design. Building upon the foundation skills of the visual arts, graphic design blends innovative visual and creative design thinking in order to support the objectives of society, business, education, or the wider community.

MCC Students pursue graphic design in print, web, multimedia, video and motion graphics, illustration, comics or animation according to three main tracks in the Graphic Design degree program. Consult with your advisor to choose the courses that are best for your career track and educational goals.
