Earth Day Celebration
Saturday, April 11, 2015 – 10:00am to 3:00pm
All activities will be held at UM-Flint Harding Mott University Center unless otherwise noted.

KIVA-located off 1st Floor Lobby

Time Presentation
10:30 am – 12 noon "Get the Dirt" - enlightening presentations relevant to environmental, healthy and sustainable living practices… limited to 5 minutes each.
12:30 pm – 1:30 pm "Healthy Planet, Healthy People" - Keynote Speaker Dr. Partha Nandi M.D., F.A.C.P.

The keynote speaker for this year’s Earth Day Celebration is Dr. Partha Nandi M.D., F.A.C.P. Dr. Nandi is the creator and host of the internationally recognized medical lifestyle television show, Ask Dr. Nandi.

A practicing physician and a renowned international speaker, his appearances include TedX, college commencements, numerous charity functions, premier medical meetings such as Digestive Disease Week, and nationally syndicated television programs such as The Katie Couric Show. His presentation at Earth Day will be at 12:30 p.m., in the KIVA room located on the first floor of the Harding Mott University Center. His presentation will emphasize the importance of our daily practice as it relates to healthy, mindful and sustainable living. Environmental awareness and how a healthy planet supports healthy people is the goal of this year’s event. "We want to continue our mission to enrich the lives of our community by helping to create a healthier planet,” said Dr. Nandi.
