DLES Sessions are conducted on-line through www.blackboard.mcc.edu (log in via the MCC Portal). Students should allow 24 hours for Blackboard enrollments to be complete after registering for a DLES class.
Sessions are available for access beginning at midnight of the Start Date. To begin this session go to www.blackboard.mcc.edu. Click on “here” to find your user name and password, then login and start the session. Sessions take approximately four hours to complete depending upon student skill level and speed of the internet connection. We recommend that you use Google Chrome or Firefox as your browser. The updated browsers sometimes have issues downloading certain types of files. Try switching browsers if you experience downloading issues.
Students MUST successfully “S” complete the section by 11:59 pm of the end date to be able to register for e-Learning classes.
Grades are posted on WebAdvisor on a daily basis. The “S” (satisfactory) or “U” (unsatisfactory) grade will appear on the MCC transcript and does not affect the GPA. Official transcripts to other institutions will not see this grade.
Once a student successfully completes the DLES prep class they may register for any WCA, WWW or Hybrid class during the open registration process.
