How and When to Contact Us

 

Many of the interactions with the Financial Aid Office can be accomplished online.

MCC Answer is an online search that provides answers to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ). This tool is an easy and fast way to get an answer to many of your financial aid questions.

If you have questions not answered by MCC Answer, you can use the Contact Us feature to email your question or Live Chat with a support specialist.

Still have questions? Visit us in person. We are located in the lower level of the Prahl College Center.

     Be sure to have your valid government issued photo ID when you visit the Financial Aid Office.
  • Stop first at the Information kiosk. The Financial Aid Office operates on a "first-come, first-served basis".
    • You will be given a number from the information kiosk and you will be called into the FA service area.
    • Please be sure to have all of your documents with you to make the most of your visit.
  • If you receive a request for more information for one of your Financial Aid applications please respond right away.
    • Several FA forms are available to be printed from the website and these can be faxed, mailed or hand delivered to the FA Office.
    • Please include your student ID number on all communication to our office.

Student Concerns

Students who wish to contact the Executive Director of Student Financial Services regarding concerns should do so in writing via email at financialaid@mcc.edu.

Each concern will be addressed in the order received and appointments will be made on a case by case basis.

Due to the high volume of inquiries students should not expect an answer within hours of sending an email. All concerns will be referred or responded to within three business days.

In cases where there is a simple inquiry, or a student has not called or spoken with an intake representative, issues will be directed to a specialist for response.
