Amanda Kramer
Grant Development Specialist Trainee
Amanda Kramer provided administrative and technical support for the Grant Development Office at Mott Community College (MCC) for three years before entering into her current role as a Grant Development Specialist Trainee. Amanda worked in administrative support roles and other capacities within higher education for over seven years before coming to Mott Community College (MCC).
Prior to joining MCC, Amanda worked as the Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of Operations at Baker College Online. She also supported the Instructional Technology team at Baker College Online as an Instructional Support Specialist. While at Baker College Online, she also served for a number of years as the Copy Editor for the Journal of Leadership and Organizational Studies, published by Baker College Online and Center for Graduate Studies.
Amanda is an active member of the Council for Resource Development (CRD), the National Scholar's Honor Society, American Business Woman's Association (ABWA), and her local Toastmaster's Club. She currently holds a Bachelors of Business Administration with a minor in Project Management from Baker College and a Masters of Education with a minor in Instructional Technology & eLearning from the University of Nebraska.
Amanda's professional and academic achievements have allowed her to become very familiar with higher education practices. Through her experiences and professional development actualizations, she has accumulated a vast array of computer knowledge, both hardware and software related, and has developed stellar communication skills. Her significant accomplishments, skills and cooperative work style, make Amanda an invaluable member of the Grant Development team and the Mott Community College family.
