Mr. Shuler has served as an Electric Engineer throughout his professional career. He was employed by Bechtel Power where he prepared schematics for the nuclear steam supply, and control panel diagrams. Following his four years with Bechtel, Mr. Shuler became the Electrical Engineer for General Motors performing troubleshooting for machine controls, and programming projects. From 1987 through 1995, Mr. Shuler held the title of Senior Electrical Engineer with Vector Engineering. His duties included writing specifications and standards for clients, programming of hardware and software, and low and medium voltage power distribution designs. In 1995, Mr. Shuler left Vector Engineering to concentrate full-time on the development of the company, Phasor Electric, Inc. He is currently the President of Phasor Electric, Inc.

Scott Swan

He has also filled the title of Operation Manager for Northern Metal Technologies where he had responsibilities in welding, heat treating, machine commissioning, and facility start-up. From 2004 through 2010, Mr. Scott was employed with Wayne Wire Cloth Products, Inc. as the Project Engineer and Tool Room Supervisor. Following, this position, he worked at Royal Oak Industries as their Project Manager, where he performed CNC machine process documentation, programming, and cutting tool development specifications.

Michelle Thiel

Mrs. Thiel was the Library Assistant to the Amargosa Valley Library District in 1995, where she circulated library materials, collected fines, and re-shelved materials. From 1995 through 1999, she filled the title of their Library Director. As the Director, she performed more administrative duties and served as a liaison to the K-8 public school. Also, Mrs. Thiel helped to implement the library’s first computerized circulation system. From April 2000 through July 2009, she served two consecutive roles of the Library Technician 1 and the Library Technician 2 for Lied Library in the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Mrs. Thiel hired, trained, scheduled, and supervised student employees. She also managed and taught a video editing lab.

From 2006 to 2012, Kristy held the title of the Assessment Analyst for OCC through Adecco as a contractor. In this role, she prepared reports and programs and analyzed data to convey/communicate to the Curriculum Review Board. Kristy most recently served as the Business Office Specialist for OCC. In this role, she maintained communication with students by processing payments and transactions as well as providing Financial Aid explanations.
