IMS offers both adult and child life-sized patient simulators. They are capable of both verbal and physiologic responses to drug and treatment interventions. These realistic representations allow participants to fully immerse themselves in the training.
Medical simulation is designed for a wide range of medical professionals: physicians, P.A.'s, nurses, emergency medical and allied health care personnel and multidisciplinary teams.
All levels of care, including invasive techniques and high stake procedures can be practiced repeatedly without harm to actual patients. Simulation training provides the opportunity to practice teamwork, communication and decision-making skills.
The Institute for Medical Simulation staff is available to customize simulation design to meet your learning goals.
The IMS provides a risk-free learning environment.
