We had a great time at each and every one! Remember, all TRiO-SSS activities are FREE to participants! Check your monthly calendars for upcoming events and join us! SSS students have fun watching the Pistons take on the Cavaliers at the Palace of Auburn Hills in February. SSS students enjoy a tour of Oakland University in March. TRiO-SSS Graduate and Academic Achievement Banquet Keep an eye on the mail for your invitation to the annual TRiO-SSS Graduate and Academic Achievement Banquet! This year our banquet will be held Wednesday, May 6th at the Northbank Center from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Come and enjoy dinner and entertainment as we honor our graduates and those students that have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher at the end of winter semester. Whenever you see this picture on the calendar, that’s a Chat day! ------------------------------- Mackinaw Island Trip Reminder If you received a flyer in the mail regarding the summer trip to Mackinaw Island taking place August 7 - 9th, YOU QUALIFY to attend! This cultural experience includes 3 days and 2 nights exploring the history and beauty of Mackinaw Island. Please let your Coordinators know if you are interested in this all-expense paid trip as soon as possible. The A’s and B’s Jar will be back beginning fall semester 09/10. Participation Points All Participation Points earned will be erased the end of the winter semester, May 1st. You may start earning Participation Points for spring semester beginning Monday, May 4th. Be sure to redeem what you have earned before Friday, May 1st. Don’t let your hard work go to waste! Laptop Loan The SSS Laptop Loan will be available for both spring and summer semesters. Stop by and see your Coordinators to borrow a laptop while you’re here on campus.
