Any current student of Mott Community College has library circulation privileges for the semester(s) for which he/she is enrolled. The student ID card serves as the library card. Students must have both their student ID and a photo ID to check out materials. A limit of ten items may be checked out at any one time. See our Circulation Policies for a complete description.
University Center Students:
Have the same borrowing privileges as Mott students. University Center Students can register for the current semester only. They must apply for a new card each semester at the Circulation Desk. To apply for the card, the students must bring Picture ID, Current College ID, and proof of enrollment for the semester (either a Course Schedule or Syllabus from a current course). Both Picture ID and the provided University Library Card are required to check out materials.
Academic Resource Sharing:
MCC and U of M-Flint participate in limited sharing of books for current students (2 books per visit/10 books per semester). In order to qualify for an ARS card, you must:
- Be registered for current semester
- Be in good standing with the library
- Be in good standing with the college
