Welding Symbols & Drawings This course has two sections, Welding Symbols and Reading Welding Drawings. Welding Symbols will cover and explain the different parts of a welding symbol, the different types of fillet welds, groove welds, and non-destructive examination symbols. You will learn how to read welding symbols on drawings, specifications, and welding procedure specifications. Welding Drawings will teach you to identify welding detail drawings, lines, fills, object views and dimensioning on drawings. You will learn how to use notes on drawings and the bill of materials.
