Mission Statement:
The Office of Professional Development through its Center for Teaching and Learning is dedicated to creating a culture of continuous learning for all faculty, staff and administrators at Mott Community College.

Meet the Staff:
Dale K. Weighill is the Executive Dean of Professional Development & Experiential Learning. Prior to taking on this position, Dale taught introductory courses in Political Science at Mott as an adjunct faculty member in the Social Sciences/Fine Arts Division. Most recently, Dale served for eleven years as the President & CEO of Resource Genesee, a Flint-based nonprofit agency. In addition to his duties as Executive Dean, he serves as a City Councilperson for the City of Flint’s 7th Ward |

Chulindra Cooks joined Mott Community College as a Full-time Administrative Assistant, in the Office of Professional Development and Experiential Learning, after serving as a Temporary employee for 3 years. Prior to her work at MCC, Chulindra spent over 20 years as an Administrative Assistant and Customer Service Representative. |

Robin McClain is the 2011-2012 AmeriCorps* VISTA, working on further developing campus-wide service learning initiatives. Originally from Bay City, MI, she's a student of Delta College and University of Michigan-Flint, with degrees in English. Recently married, she lives in Durand with her husband, Jonathon. |
