Mission Statement:
The Office of Professional Development through its Center for Teaching and Learning is dedicated to creating a culture of continuous learning for all faculty, staff and administrators at Mott Community College.

Meet the Staff:
As a lifetime educator, Lori has 31 years of experience as an instructor and an administrator. With degrees in education from the University of Kansas and Wichita State University, she has worked the last 26 years in the post-secondary community college environment. After an early retirement as the Dean of Business & Continuing Education from Kansas City Kansas Community College, she brings her skills in both credit and non-credit to Mott Community College as the Executive Dean of Professional Development and Experiential Learning. She is a certified Achieve Global© Trainer and a graduate of the Chair Leadership Academy.
Lori has served on many local boards, including the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Kansas City, Kansas, the Workforce Investment Board in SDA III, Kansas City and the Piper USD 203 School Board. |

Bill Reich has been teaching at Mott Community College since 1994 (full time since 1998). He has taught developmental writing, basic composition, technical writing, and literature classes. Mr. Reich has earned a BA and an MA from Central Michigan University and an MA from Eastern Michigan University. Since 2008, he has served as Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning.

Robert Benard is a full time Information Technology professor in the Technology division. He teaches courses with topics in help desk support, computer programming, Web development, database, and network security. He has spoken about technology at several teaching conferences. Rob earned his MBA concentrating in Management Information Systems and is certified in web development, Security+, and IC3. Rob offers assistance to faculty, staff, and administration through the CTL on a variety of Information Technology topics. |
