Ignition and Fuel Systems

Course Requirements: Prerequisite: Placement into RDNG-016 (ACSR-016)AUTO-161. Students must provide own hand tools.
Description: A lecture-laboratory course covering the operation and testing of ignition and fuel systems. Computerized engine controls and emission systems as related to the ignition and fuel system are also taught. Safety practices will also be emphasized. The completion of this course and AUTO-283 will prepare the student for the ASE and State of Michigan Automobile Mechanics Certification Test and NATEF standards.
