Description: The clinical section of the course which addresses current hospital equipment and procedures related to physical therapy. Performance and problem solving of physical therapy interventions including mobility and positioning, transfer techniques, sterile techniques, wound and burn care and physical agents. Pathology, etiology, clinical findings, medical treatment, prognosis and precautions for selected integument pathologies. Laboratory and clinical application of basic physical therapy interventions, data collection, communication, safety and professional behaviors.
