The Associate in Science (AS) Degree is designed primarily for students who plan to transfer to a four-year college or university with a major in natural or physical sciences, mathematics, or in preparation for professional fields such as medicine, dentistry, dietetics, environmental science, natural resources or engineering.

1.  *A minimum of 40 credits from Group I, II and III with at least 18 credits in Group II are required for this degree.

2.  Courses listed under Group I, II & III may be used toward fulfilling General Education Requirements.  Students may only earn credit once for the course.

3.  No more than 50% of credits required in specialized course work, unique to a program, can be transferred from another institution to be applied toward graduation from Mott Community College.

4.  Cumulative grade point average of at least 2.0.
