The Associate of Applied Science in Automotive Technology program provides comprehensive advanced study in automobile maintenance and repair. The program emphasizes skills to help the student function successfully in the field, including exposure to the skills needed for new technology as it evolves. Students learn every aspect of the automobile including all eight ASE areas. A key component of the program is to help students become self-directed learners and develop life-long learning skills. Graduates will find employment opportunties in car dealerships, independent garages, fleet operations and other related areas. Note: students must provide their own hand tools.
