This program is designed to prepare the student for the State Board of Cosmetology Nail Technician licensing exam. The Nail Technician is one of the fastest growing and most creative professions in the cosmetology profession. A total of 400 cosmetology hours is required to complete this program in the State of Michigan. Career options include nail technician, teaching, salon owner, manufacturer's demonstrator, and personal nail technician to fashion models or the entertainment industry. This program offers the latest nail technology and equipment in a professional comfortable environment. Manicuring, pedicuring, and artificial nail applications are some of the topics taught in this program.
