Services Offered

Admission to College

You can apply for admission to Mott Community College by visiting the Southern Lakes Branch Center - Fenton during regular business hours or online by selecting the "Apply Online" button. Be sure to answer all the questions. After completing your online application, please submit your Photo ID to the SLBC main office. If you have any questions, please call 810-762-5000.

Bookstore Services

Books may be purchased at the main campus bookstore or online at efollett.com. However, scantrons, pencils are sold at front office or vending machines. Vending machines also have additional supplies.

Cashier

Mott Community College students may pay their tuition and fees by check, money order or credit card. No cash is accepted. There is a $3.00 fee for transcripts which can be purchased in-person at SLBC or "MyBackpack".

Computer Lab

Hours of operation vary depending on course offerings and staffing. Special arrangements may be made by contacting the main office at 810-762-5000.

Financial Aid Assistance

For assistance in completing the financial aid process, please visit the main campus financial aid office. All finanical aid forms can be obtained at http://www.mcc.edu/financial_aid/fa_forms.shtml.

Head Start

Head start opportunities are provided by the Genesee Area Headstart Agency. Information is available at (810) 591-0184.

Placement Testing

MCC Placement Testing may be taken at the SLBC site between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Professional and Academic Counseling

Students may access the academic counseling services of Mott Community College counseling by appointment. Counseling hours may vary by semester, please call (810) 762-5000 to make an appointment. Teleconferencing Counseling is available by videophone for unscheduled walk-ins.

Registration for Classes

Replace with: MCC students may register at the SLBC site for any of the classes offered by MCC. Students may also register for classes online using "MyBackPack."

Resource Room for OTA/PTA students

Resource Room for OTA and PTA students The Resource Room is located in room 1010.
Hours are scheduled each semester in consultation with OTA/PTA faculty.

Student Orientation

Students may attend orientation at SLBC you must call to schedule an appointment at 810- 762-5001.

Tutoring

Tutoring is available by request. MCC students may visit SLBC during regular business hours and submit a request for a tutor. This service is available on an as needed basis. For more information call 810-762-5000.
