You can apply for admission to Mott Community College by visiting the Southern Lakes
Branch Center - Fenton during regular business hours or online by selecting the “Apply
Online” button. Be sure to answer all of the questions; print the signature sheet
and return your signed sheet along with appropriate ID to the SLBC office. If you
have questions please call 810-762-5000.
Books may be purchased at the main campus bookstore or online at efollett.com
However, Scantrons, pencils and floppy disks are sold at front office or vending machines.
Vending machines also have batteries and other supplies.
Mott Community College students may pay their tuition and fees by check, money order
or credit card. No cash is accepted. There are no fee's for transcripts which can
be requested on Webadvisor
. Citizen's Bank will issue a fee free cashier's check for cash carrying customers.
Hours of operation
vary depending on course offerings and staffing. Special arrangements may be made
by contacting the main office. All students are required to sign in.
Financial Aid Assistance
SLBC can provide financial aid forms. For assistance in completing the financial
aid process please visit the main campus financial aid office.
Head start opportunities are provided by the Genesee Area Headstart Agency. Information

MCC Placement Testing may be taken at the SLBC site. Please call for hours at (810)
Students may access the professional or academic counseling services of Mott Community
College counselors by appointment on Monday's and Wednesday's. To schedule an appointment
please call (810) 762-2500. Walk-ins are available at the Counseling and Advising Offices
on the main campus in Flint.
MCC students may register at the SLBC site for any of the classes offered by MCC.
Students may also register for classes online using “WebAdvisor
Resource Room for OTA and PTA students The Resource Room is located in room 1010.
Hours are scheduled each semester in consultation with OTA/PTA faculty.
Students may attend orientation at SLBC you must call to schedule an appointment at
Tutoring is available by request. MCC students may visit SLBC during regular business
hours and submit a request for a tutor. This service is available on an as needed
