Re-Admitting MCC Student

 A valid state or federally issued photo identification (ID) (i.e. driver's license, passport, etc.) is required for all business conducted at Mott Community College.

Welcome back to Mott Community College! If you have not attended MCC in three or more years, there is no time like the present to come back. Let us review any college credits you have acquired since your last attendance at MCC and help you re-evaluate your goals. MCC can make the transition back uncomplicated and stress-free.

There is no application fee

  1. Complete an application for the Office of Admissions through one of the methods listed below. From the time we receive your application, please allow 24-48 hours for your application to be processed.
    • Apply online. Since you are already in our computer system there will be a notification alerting you of this, please continue with the updating of your application.
    • In person or print an application and mail to:

      Office of Admissions PCC2140
      1401 E. Court St.
      Flint, MI 48503
    • Submit a government issued photo identification to the Office of Admissions.
    • Completed application and required documents may be submitted to the main campus or one of MCC's satellite locations.
  2. Begin the process of applying for Financial Aid or consider the many payment options available through MCC.
  3. Have an official transcript sent from each previous college you’ve attended since you last attended Mott College. Please have the transcripts sent to:

  4. You must meet with a counselor or advisor to discuss your program, class selection and career goals. If registration is open and you are eligible you may also register for classes. (Please Note: You must meet the minimum class requirements/prerequisites. If you have any questions, please ask your counselor or advisor for assistance). Additionally, be sure to ask about MCC's Honors College and about receiving credit for eligible high school classes.
    • You may be required to take or re-take the Placement Test (check with your advisor/counselor for assistance).
  5. Complete the Registration process through your counselor/advisor at the main campus or any campus location. After your first semester, you can register online using WebAdvisor.

  6. Secure your payment options.  If you have not already done so, secure your method of payment.
