Boasting a fully-renovated, 36,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility, the Institute features multiple culinary and baking laboratories, garde manger classroom, chocolates and confections laboratory, and an upscale casual restaurant to give you, our student, experience in all aspects of the food service industry. In addition, the facility houses a temperature-controlled wine cellar and dry-aged meat room. Come and turn your love for cooking into an unforgettable educational experience.

Hungry for More?

As part of the program’s coursework, our students operate the upscale casual restaurant, Applewood at Second & Saginaw and the Coffee Beanery with specialty menus curated by both faculty and students. By honing their craft in these real-world establishments, they gain experience in either a restaurant or café-style food service environment.

At the Culinary Arts Institute, students have the option to complete an associate's degree in Culinary Arts, Baking and Pastry Arts, Food Service Management, or begin their journey with a one-year certificate in Loading... or Loading.... Courses are taught by award-winning, certified executive chefs, and food service professionals with years of industry experience.
