Hungry for More?
As part of the program’s coursework, our students operate the upscale casual restaurant, Applewood at Second & Saginaw and the Coffee Beanery with specialty menus curated by by both faculty and students. By honing their craft in these real-world establishments, they gain experience in either a restaurant or café-style food service environment.
At the Culinary Arts Institute, students have the option to complete an associate's degree in Culinary Arts, Baking and Pastry Arts, Food Service Management, or begin their journey with a one-year certificate in Professional Cooking or Professional Baking. Courses are taught by award-winning, certified executive chefs, and food service professionals with years of industry experience.
