The Career Factors Inventory (CFI) is designed to help people identify their own barriers in the career planning and decision-making processes. The CFI Self-Scorable booklet contains a 21-item measurement of the informational and emotional factors that can lead to career indecision. Based on the belief that most individuals can quickly identify the source of any obstacles in their career decision-making process, the CFI assesses four factors that can be grouped into two categories, information needs and decision needs.

FOCUS 2 is an online, interactive, self-guided career, major and education planning system that combines self-assessment, career/major exploration, decision making and action planning in one comprehensive product. Students’ assessment results are matched to career options and majors/programs.
Research has shown that students who get involved in career planning activities show increased retention, graduate on time, have improved academic performance, tend to be more goal focused and motivated, and have a more satisfying and fulfilling college experience. FOCUS 2 will help students take responsibility for their education and career planning, engage in activities that support their career development, and take action.
FOCUS 2 contains the most comprehensive occupational and educational information database available. Additionally, FOCUS 2 has been fully certified in meeting the highest level of standards established by the Association for Computer-Based Systems for Career Information (ACSCI). The FOCUS 2 system conforms to the standard and criteria established by the National Career Development Association and the U.S. Department of Labor.

The Learning and Study Strategies Inventory (LASSI) is designed to provide students with a diagnosis of their strengths and weaknesses, compared to other college students, and provides information about areas where students may be need to improve their knowledge, skills, attitudes, motivations and beliefs. The LASSI Self-Scorable booklet contains a 10-scale, 80-item assessment of students’ awareness about and use of learning and study strategies related to skill, will and self-regulation components of strategic learning.

The MBTI is one of the most widely used measures of personality preference. It can be used to help in choosing school majors, occupations and leisure interests. Also, it can assist you in recognizing compatible work settings and related career opportunities based on type preferences.
