Christy Rishoi - Faculty - English

Dr. Rishoi is Professor of English in the Humanities Division, where she has taught since 2002. She teaches online and campus-based courses including Composition, American Indian Literature, Introduction to Literature, and Children’s Literature.

After earning her PhD in American Studies from Michigan State University, she taught full-time at Jackson College in Jackson, Michigan before joining the faculty at Mott College. She has also taught as a guest instructor at Eastern Michigan University, Michigan State University, and Aquinas College. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, gardening, and traveling.

She thinks a life in school is the best life there is.
