Dr. Derine McCrory is an award-winning marketing communication professional with a track record of consistently driving marketing strategy to improve organization recognition and achieve business goals. Derine joined Mott as a fulltime faculty member in the Fall of 2017 with a Bachelor of Science Degree from Grand Valley State University, Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University and a Doctorate Business Administration with a Marketing Specialization from Walden University.
Derine teaches a menu of marketing courses ranging from Principles of Marketing, Advertising, Consumer Behavior, Selling, Marketing Management and Introduction to Business. She employs exemplary collaboration initiative and leadership, to encourage productivity on multiple, concurrent projects across all marketing/communications platforms.
As a scholar-practitioner, her personal philosophy of teaching transmits into students as partners with their professors, allo wing real-life practical experiences to come alive in the classroom. Derine’s career has awarded her the opportunity to act as a strategic thinker to develop and initiate successful diverse institutional alliances, marketing / public relations campaigns, and increase market share, and community engagement.
