I have worked for Mott Community College in an adjunct status as a counselor, an advisor in several areas and an instructor since the beginning of 2005. In 2020 I broadened my horizons and began writing curriculum and teaching in the online environment. At this writing, I anticipate earning my PhD in cognitive psychology and learning in 2022; all my courses toward this degree were completed online, so I empathize fully with the online student.
Outside of Mott I am a vocational rehabilitation counselor specializing in assessment and evaluation and a vocational expert witness for the Social Security Administration. I have helped hundreds of individuals establish and attain goals and focus on positive lifestyle changes.
In between the hours I spend sitting at the computer or attending hearings, I spend time with my family and take my dog on walks throughout my community where there are several parks and nature trails, or I swim.
