AV Equipment is available upon request. Please submit your request to the Front Desk. Equipment available includes overhead projectors, TVs, VCRs, DVDs, smart carts and slide projectors.
LEC is equipped with 9 state-of-the-art smart classrooms.
The Front Desk sells pens, pencils and Scantrons® (green strip 882-E, blue book, mini-essay 886-E and blue general purpose 4521).
Please contact the site manager and appropriate division office of your class cancellation.
Lapeer Extension Center staff will post the cancellation and make every effort to contact students and/or relay homework assignments that you specify.
If needed, classroom furniture may be rearranged, but please return furniture to the original configuration for the next class. Your cooperation is appreciated, since the LEC does not have dedicated maintenance staff onsite.
Coffee is available in the Lounge.
Computer Labs are available for you to reserve on a first come, first serve basis. Please fill out a request form and return completed form to the Front Desk. Your request will be confirmed with approval for usage, or that a Computer Lab is unavailable at the requested time. The single-day user password (FORK) is available at the Front Desk. To conserve energy, at the end of class, please turn off ALL equipment (computers, monitors and lab printer).
Xerox WorkCentre machines are available to copy, email and fax documents. If you have questions on using these machines, please ask for assistance at the Front Desk. MCC students must use the pay copier located in the Commons, east of the Public Safety Office. Large quantity coping should be ordered through your Division Office to be processed by Printing & Duplication and then will be interoffice mailed to the LEC or the location of your choice.
Students attending your classes who need special accommodations should be referred to Disability Services located on our Flint campus for support. Students may call Disability Services at (810) 232-9181.
Networked computers and printers are available in the Faculty Work Center. To conserve energy, please turn off computers, monitors and the Faculty Work Center printer after use.
Various college forms are available at the Front Desk. Please ask staff for assistance.
A Request for Approval of College-Sponsored Student Travel & Field Trips form must be filled out and signed by you and the appropriate Academic Dean at least one (1) week in advance of travel. The form is available at the Front Desk. Please provide the LAPR site manager a copy before submitting the original form to the appropriate Academic Division Office.
A nearby library access in Lapeer is available at the Marguerite De Angeli Library (east 1 mile). The Library has many accommodating resources for our MCC students for class work, career and job resources and resume writing assistance. To request a tour or to reserve a room, please call the Library at (810) 664- 6971. The MCC Library system is also available via LEC computers at www.library.mcc.edu.

Your LEC Mailbox is located in the Lounge. Mail is picked up and delivered Monday and Thursday Only. Interoffice envelopes are available to forward mail to any MCC location. The outgoing mail pouch is located behind the Front Desk. Please ask staff for assistance.
Make-up Testing for your Mott-LEC students should be arranged by the instructor or by contacting the MCC Testing Center
An office phone is available for MCC business use. To place an interoffice call to departments or individuals, dial the five-digit extension number. To place an outgoing call, dial nine (9) then the number.
Parking Lots are located on the North, South, East and West side of the LEC building. Parking map and Driving Directions.
A refrigerator and microwave are available in the lounge. Please mark your food with your name and date.
Scrantons are available for purchase at the Front Desk.
The scantron machine for scoring tests is located in the office area.
Storage bins are available for use and are located in the Lounge area under the faculty mailboxes. Please label the bin with your name and the term. Please remove contents at the end of each term.
Vending machines selling beverages and snacks are located off the Commons.
Weather Emergency Procedures have been posted on bulletin boards in each classroom. You will be notified of severe weather warnings in your classroom via intercom or by staff.
Wireless Internet is available throughout the building.
