The Mott Community College Fine Arts Gallery in the Visual Arts and Design Center will present an exhibition of sculpture by nine artists working in the Flint and southeastern Michigan area. This exhibition, which runs from Oct. 16 through 31, is titled Sculpture Invitational and is curated by Mott Community College Sculpture and Foundations Assistant Professor of Studio Art, Dr. Jjenna Andrews.

Participating artist James Malone Beach will give a public presentation on Wednesday, Oct. 18 at 1:30pm in the Visual Arts and Design Center, room 129. The event is free and open to the public.

The other artists participating in the exhibition are: Sherri Archer, Meg Bundy, James Lawton, Laura Cloud, Marti Miller, Cristen Velliky, Jess Jaxx and Ben Clore.

The Fine Arts Gallery is located in the Visual Arts and Design Center on the Mott Community College main campus in Flint. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Free and open to the public. For more information, call the Art and Design office at 810-762-0443.
