MCC wants community input for 2019-2021 Strategic Plan

Mott Community College is planning for the future, and is looking for community input. The College launched its 2019-2021 Strategic Planning process in April, and the College is seeking community input on what MCC should accomplish in the next three years.

The public is invited to participate in a Community Conversation for Strategic Planning session with MCC. The first is Wednesday, May 23 at 1 p.m. at the Workforce Development Center (709 N. Saginaw St. Flint, MI 48503) Room 1103. Lunch will be provided, but an RSVP is requested by Friday, May 18 to strategicplanning@mcc.edu.

The second is Thursday, May 24 at 6 p.m. at the Lapeer Extension Center (550 Lake Drive Suite A, Lapeer, MI 48446). Dinner will be provided but an RSVP is requested by Friday, May 18 to strategicplanning@mcc.edu.

“We want to continue to build upon our rich legacy of excellence in education and our commitment to providing students, and the community, with opportunities to succeed,” said Walker-Griffea. “Our goal is for our 2019-2021 Strategic Plan to be an accurate reflection of the needs and desires of our many College stakeholders,” she added.

The discussion will focus on the areas of Student Success, Employee Success, Teaching and Learning, Workforce Partnerships, and College and Community Sustainability.
